  • I am located in the Philadelphia area, and I work with clients all across the state of Pennsylvania virtually.

  • Online therapy is just like traditional therapy, but we meet over a secure video call instead of in an office. You can join from anywhere you feel safe and comfortable (cozy blankets and pets encouraged!).

  • I do not offer standing in-person sessions, however I am able to schedule in-person sessions for my clients in the Philadelphia area on an as-needed basis. If you would like to learn more about this option, feel free to reach out here.

  • Intake session: $175

    50-minute session: $150

    75-minute session: $215

Many individuals utilize their insurance coverage for partial reimbursement of therapy sessions (many plans offer 60%, 70%, 80%, or even 100% reimbursement). If you’re interested in learning more about this option, see the next question below or contact me to discuss further.

I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out here.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance companies. This means that you are responsible for paying the session fee at the time of our appointment, rather than the session being billed through your insurance.

However, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for self-pay therapy sessions. This means that your insurance company would reimburse a percentage of the session fee based on your exact coverage, after you submit an invoice (called a “superbill”). I am happy to work with you to facilitate this - I can help you determine your insurance coverage and I provide monthly superbills for my clients seeking reimbursement. • In a first session, we'll start off just getting to know each other. Therapy is courageous work, and you deserve to feel safely held in the therapeutic relationship. We'll collaborate to determine the goals that must align with your needs, and I'll remind you that this is your therapeutic experience, so you can always ask for whatever you need from our time together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling seen, and with an idea of the therapeutic relationship we'll continue to build together.

Following sessions can look different depending on you and your personality: there may be tears on the hard days, laughter on the easier days (and sometimes on the hard days too!), and lots of deep understanding and connection that leaves you feeling heard and held through it all.

  • The length of therapy depends on your goals, your pace, and what you’re hoping to work on. Some people come for a specific issue and feel ready to step away after a few months. Others stay longer, using therapy as a space for ongoing reflection, growth, and support.

My goal is to help you get to a place where continuing with therapy feels like a choice, not a necessity for survival. We’ll check in regularly to make sure our work continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs.

  • A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected costs of your therapy services. As part of the No Surprises Act, it's designed to help you understand and plan for the financial component of your care.

Before our first session, I’ll provide you with a written estimate of your session fees and what you might expect to pay over time. This isn’t a bill, just a transparent look at the possible costs so you can make informed decisions.

You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time, and you can click here to learn more.

  • I am licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania (License #APC000101), and eligible for LPC licensure. This means that I have completed all educational, training, and clinical experience requirements necessary for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I continue to provide counseling services under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor until final processing and issuance of my additional license.

If you have any questions about my licensure status or supervision, please feel free to ask.
