Dear future client,

Hello! I'm Mackenzie.

Reaching out can be so difficult. But I’m here to let you know that the healing has begun as soon as you start considering taking this step for yourself… Whenever you’re ready, I will be by your side every next step of the way.

I am so happy you're here! And I’m so excited for you to learn how possible it is for things to feel less hard, confusing, lonely. You deserve that! Contentment, clarity, connection.

My clients would probably describe me as warm, authentic, and approachable (I’ve even heard “funny” thrown around as a descriptor once or twice…). This is not your typical therapy that can feel impersonal or too clinical- I like to keep therapy easy-going, laid-back, flexible… a place that reflects you and whatever you’re needing. A place to exhale. Therapy with me is a welcoming safe space where you are totally encouraged to show up as you are (pajamas, snacks, cozy blankets, support pets also welcome!). I lead with this energy too: I’m usually found with a mug of tea and my dog cuddled in my lap during sessions, and it’s not uncommon to hear laughter interspersed with our deep healing work.

I feel incredibly lucky to get to do this work. It’s truly my dream job to get to know you, and to help you live the life you’re yearning for. It would be an honor to be part of this process with you- And I’m here whenever you’re ready!

I hope to meet you soon,

About Mackenzie Glassner, LPC, CCTP, CMIP

I’m here to help you rediscover the “you” you’ve been searching for.

I’m a Philadelphia-based Polyvagal therapist (click here to find out what this means) who specializes in the struggles embedded within our connectedness. This could be based in relationships with others (think familial ruptures, friendship struggles, and/or issues within romantic relationships), the relationship within ourselves (think self-esteem, lack of boundaries, people-pleasing, lack of identity), and our relationship to the world around us (think nervous system dysregulation and/or trauma reactions).

How I work:

My work is built on the foundational belief that connection is the basis of healing.

Through building a therapeutic relationship based in trust, safety, and presence, we’ll gently explore what’s been holding you back, and begin moving toward deeper connection with yourself and others.

Therapy with me is…
